Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management)

Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, SA, Australia

About this program

This is AIB's generalist twelve-subject MBA with the elective slots and capstone project directed into human resource management, one of five specialisations the institute offers alongside Finance, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurial Management, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The first eight subjects match every other AIB MBA student's coursework (the core business fundamentals that also make up the nested Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma awards) before the specialisation subjects and capstone narrow the focus toward workforce planning, industrial relations, and organisational design.

Because the whole program runs in eight-week online terms with no fixed campus requirement, it's aimed squarely at working HR practitioners or generalist managers looking to move into a dedicated people-leadership track, using their own workplace as the case study for assignments rather than hypothetical scenarios.

The capstone project, completed at the end of the degree, is typically framed around a genuine HR or organisational challenge from the student's own employer, giving the final piece of work practical value beyond the grade attached to it.
