Master of Project Management

Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia

About this program

Bond is the only Australian university whose project management programs carry recognition from all three major industry bodies at once: the Australian Institute of Project Management, the Project Management Institute's Global Accreditation Center, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. That's a fairly unusual claim to be able to make and shapes how the Master of Project Management is built. Rather than teaching a single methodology, the curriculum aligns to the PMBOK Guide while explicitly training students in predictive, adaptive and hybrid ways of working, since that's closer to how project teams actually operate outside a textbook.

The degree is organised around four study themes (strategy; sustainability; managing complex problems and teams; and virtual teams and global working) that recur across subjects rather than being confined to one unit each. Content covers conflict resolution, integrated planning, portfolio management, and both public- and private-sector investment and risk, and the degree can be completed across Bond's three trimesters faster than an equivalent two-semester program elsewhere.
