Bachelor of Information Technology

Box Hill's Bachelor of Information Technology follows the same 12 core / 8 major / 4 elective structure as several of its other applied degrees, with specialisation streams in cyber security, data analytics and AI, cloud computing and IoT, and software engineering. It's TEQSA-accredited and pitched at AQF Level 7, the standard bachelor's level, despite Box Hill's identity as a TAFE first and university-level provider second.

That dual-sector status is arguably the more interesting fact about the degree: students can move between Box Hill's certificate and diploma-level IT courses and this bachelor's with credit transfer arrangements that a stand-alone university IT school doesn't usually offer as smoothly, useful for students who started in vocational IT training and want to step up without repeating content.
