Curtin's Bachelor of Science (Science) covers an unusually wide net of majors for one degree title: Agricultural Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Biology and Ecology, Environmental Science, Food Science and Technology, ICT, Marine Science, Mineral Processing, Software Development, and Space and Planetary Science all sit under it, which reflects Curtin's identity as a resources-and-industry-adjacent university rather than a pure research-science school. Mineral Processing and Space and Planetary Science in particular are majors you won't find at most Australian universities, tied respectively to WA's mining sector and Curtin's own astronomy research group (home to some of the country's radio astronomy and remote sensing work).
