Diploma of Business

Greenwich College's Diploma of Business is a nationally recognised VET qualification, not a taste of a university degree: the assessment is built around workplace tasks (drafting a business plan, running a budget, writing up a risk register) rather than essays, which suits students who learn better by producing something usable than by writing about theory. Most students enrol specifically because it converts into credit toward a partner university's business degree, shaving up to a year off a bachelor's when the pathway is followed through.

Class sizes at Greenwich's Sydney CBD campus are kept small by design, and a large share of the cohort is international students building English proficiency and local business fluency alongside the qualification itself. Group projects and presentations get more classroom time here than they typically would in a standard first-year university subject, which is deliberate scaffolding rather than a lighter workload.

Graduates either step straight into junior business, admin or coordinator roles or, more commonly, use the diploma's credit points to enter the second year of a partner university's Bachelor of Business.
