Diploma of Leadership and Management
Greenwich College, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
This sits a level below Greenwich's Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management and is aimed at students moving into a first management or team-leader role rather than those already operating at a senior level. The units cover the basics of leading a team, managing workplace relationships, and building operational plans rather than organisation-wide strategy.
It's one of Greenwich's more flexible diplomas in terms of who enrols: recent graduates aiming at their first supervisory job sit in the same classes as mid-career professionals from overseas whose existing management experience isn't formally recognised in Australia and who need a local, AQF-recognised credential to have that experience taken seriously by Australian employers.
Successful completion carries credit into a partner university business or management degree, typically at second-year entry, and graduates commonly step into team leader, supervisor or coordinator roles.
