Bachelor of Business (Property)

International College of Management, Sydney, Manly, NSW, Australia

About this program

ICMS's Property specialisation is a newer addition to its business degree suite, built to feed Sydney's persistently active property and construction sector, a market where demand for graduates with both business fundamentals and property-specific knowledge (valuation, property law, development finance, asset management) has stayed strong even through broader graduate market softness elsewhere. It sits on the standard ICMS core-subjects spine before specialising into property valuation, real estate law, property development and funds/asset management units.

The Work Integrated Learning placements (up to 600 hours across two subjects) commonly place students with real estate agencies, property funds, valuation firms or development companies around Sydney, giving graduates direct exposure to a sector where a large share of hiring still runs through personal networks and internship-to-hire pathways rather than open graduate programs.

Because the specialisation is smaller and newer than ICMS's hospitality-heritage degrees, cohort sizes tend to be modest, which in practice means closer staff-student contact and more individualised placement matching than a large-university property degree with hundreds of students competing for the same handful of industry placements.
