Master of Business Administration
University of Wollongong, Wollongong, NSW, Australia
About this program
UOW's MBA runs through the Faculty of Business and Law and is AACSB-accredited. It targets working professionals: most units are offered in intensive or evening/weekend formats so people can study alongside full-time jobs, and the cohort skews toward students with several years' work experience rather than fresh graduates.
Core coverage is standard MBA territory (strategy, finance, marketing, leadership), but the elective structure lets students build a concentration: options have included international business and innovation/technology management, reflecting the region's manufacturing and steel industry links. A consulting-style capstone project replaces a traditional thesis for most students, usually done with a real host organisation.
