Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia

About this program

This is a 4-year integrated Honours degree at UNSW rather than a 3+1 structure: honours-level research training is built in from the start rather than being a separate competitive add-on, relevant given Honours is generally required for clinical or organisational postgraduate training. The School of Psychology has research strength in areas including addiction, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical psychology, and undergraduate research placements draw directly on those active labs.

APAC accreditation covers the degree for provisional psychologist registration purposes, and the thesis in the final year is an actual independent empirical study, individually supervised, not a literature review dressed up as research.
