About this program
UNSW Law is one of Australia's higher-ranked law schools, and the LLB (usually taken combined with Arts, Commerce, Science, or Engineering) leans on the faculty's reputation for public interest and social justice law alongside commercial law strength. UNSW runs one of the country's larger law clinic programs, and the Kingsford Legal Centre gives students supervised real-client experience through community legal service placements, a genuine differentiator versus programs where clinical work is optional or minimal.
The faculty also has a strong human rights and international law research base, and students aiming at that side of practice rather than corporate law have real elective depth to draw on, not just one or two token subjects.

- Core (Priestley 11): Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Property, Equity, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Evidence, Civil Procedure, Corporations Law, Ethics and Professional Responsibility
- Electives: minimum 8 subjects across commercial law, international law, human rights, IP, criminology
- Clinical option: Kingsford Legal Centre supervised clinic placement (credit-bearing)
- Capstone: research thesis or moot competition track, final year
