Who is eligible
International students, other than Australian or New Zealand citizens, who are new commencing students for a 2026 or 2027 intake in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program, full fee paying and not holding a humanitarian or other permanent visa.
La Trobe's main merit scholarship for international students, offering up to 25% off tuition for the whole length of an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree, applied as an upfront discount from your first semester (second semester at the Sydney campus).
There is no separate application. High-achieving applicants to an eligible course are automatically considered. It currently only covers students starting in a 2026 or 2027 intake, so confirm it still applies before assuming it covers a later start date.
