Who is eligible
Commencing students who are citizens of India holding an unconditional offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree. Awarded on academic merit, with a small fixed number of each type each year.
A dedicated University of Sydney program for Indian students. Each year it offers two full-tuition undergraduate scholarships for up to four years, ten first-year awards of AUD 20,000, and sixteen first-year awards of AUD 10,000.
It needs a separate application and is competitive because the numbers are fixed. Sydney's broader international scholarships, some assessed automatically without an application, can usually be held alongside a country scholarship, so most Indian applicants are considered for more than one form of support.
