Who is eligible

New international students commencing in 2026 from eligible regions including South Asia and the Maldives, Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Bhutan, Mauritius and the Philippines. A limited quota applies each intake.

Torrens University's Motivational Scholarship reduces total course tuition by up to 25 percent for students from a broad list of regions that includes South Asia. Torrens, a private university, also runs a 30 percent scholarship for students starting in an accelerated Trimester 1 intake and a 25 percent business merit scholarship.

The Motivational Scholarship has limited places and is applied for after you receive a Torrens offer. Torrens campuses are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, and it charges the same fee to all students with no subsidised places.
