The University of the Sunshine Coast builds a 15 percent tuition reduction into the offer for eligible commencing international students. There is nothing to apply for separately.
UniSC's main campus at Sippy Downs and its other South East Queensland campuses are classified regional for skilled migration, so the fee cut comes with the regional study points toward the 190 and 491 visas and lower living costs than Brisbane.
The reduction is applied directly to a student's account after they accept their offer and before each teaching period's fee due date, rather than being paid out separately. It cannot be combined with any other UniSC international scholarship or tuition reduction, so students who qualify for a different award need to pick one. To keep the discount for the whole program a student must remain classified as an international student throughout, and the offer cannot be deferred to start after 2026.
