About this program
A three-year degree accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia, so graduates are eligible to register as an Accredited Exercise Scientist. Students complete more than 140 hours of industry placement across sporting clubs, gyms, fitness centres and schools.
Facilities are a strength: exercise testing labs, a high-performance sport centre, exercise physiology clinics, an environmental chamber, and a sport science hub at the South Australian Sports Institute. Entry is an ATAR of about 75. It suits students heading into strength and conditioning, performance analysis or exercise science, and it is the standard first step toward postgraduate clinical exercise physiology.
