About this program
Adelaide University's Diploma in Media Studies is the one-year pathway exit award within the Bachelor of Media and Communication, covering the same first year of study and giving students a recognised qualification if they choose not to continue to the full degree, or a direct credit pathway back into it. The Bachelor of Media and Communication at Adelaide University is a flexible three-year degree that teaches students to create impactful media and communications content for any career context. Students understand the issues, trends and technologies shaping how we interact, and learn to produce well-informed and targeted media and communication strategies for a range of organisations, audiences and platforms, using words, images and sound to tell powerful stories. Graduates work in public relations, social media, design, immersive media, film, gaming and entertainment, and communication roles across industries.
