About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Music is designed for musicians ready to move beyond skill development into advanced, self-directed practice, sitting between the Master of Music and the undergraduate degrees as a shorter, contained postgraduate credential. It builds on undergraduate studies through sustained project work, advanced research, and engagement with complex musical and industry frameworks, and can be pursued standalone or as a pathway into the Master of Music. Domestic students only; delivered face to face with some online components at AIM's Melbourne and Sydney campuses over 4 study periods (52 weeks) full-time or part-time equivalent. CRICOS 113143A. Admissions
Domestic only: applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree and have relevant professional experience in the musical field, and must attend an interview or live audition and provide a portfolio of two contrasting items in their field of interest (AIM's own course page).
