About this program

The Bachelor of Statistics is a three-year degree at ANU's Acton campus focused on exploring data and modelling uncertainty as the capacity to collect data accelerates. It builds advanced quantitative skills applicable across disciplines that deal with uncertainty and complexity, from climate science and public health to economics, artificial intelligence and national security. The degree requires 144 units and can be combined with another discipline in a flexible double degree. Statisticians are in demand across technology companies, financial institutions, government agencies and research organisations.
