About this program
At ANU the Master of Engineering is offered as a set of two-year specialisations rather than a single generic degree, including electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics automation and control, renewable energy, energy systems, and digital systems and telecommunications. Each is a 96-unit program, typically 36 to 48 units of compulsory courses plus at least 48 units of electives that can be drawn from across the University, with work-integrated learning delivered through group projects. Entry requires a four-year Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), or international equivalent, in a cognate discipline with a minimum GPA of 5.0 on the ANU 7-point scale; admission is competitive.
