Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (Advanced)

Australian National University, Canberra, ACT, Australia

About this program

The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies at the Australian National University equips students with the knowledge and skills to understand the nature of peace and conflict, the causes and experiences of violence, and the ways national and international bodies can respond. The program brings together diverse disciplinary insights, demonstrating how different interpretations of peace and conflict influence what we see and how we judge success and failure. Drawing particularly on the Asia-Pacific but with a global outlook, it prepares graduates to work across private, civil society and governmental organisations. The Advanced version adds a substantial independent research component.
