Bachelor of Communication (Business)
Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
This two-year degree (six semesters) is the Bachelor of Communication with a required six-subject marketing major, which is what the "(Business)" label marks. First year pairs three marketing subjects with communication foundations (strategic speaking and writing, communication in the workplace, digital media and society) and Bond's core subjects. Second year finishes the marketing major (buyer behaviour, marketing research, promotional design, strategic marketing) and opens up a wide elective block.
On top of the marketing major, students can add a communication major or minor in advertising, public relations, journalism, film and television, digital media, social media, corporate storytelling, or creative writing. Relevant public relations majors are accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia. The degree suits students who want marketing as a career base with communication production skills alongside it.
