About this program

A three-year degree (24 subjects) with intakes in January, May, and September. First year is a broad introduction to screen production alongside Bond's core subjects; second year is a specialisation chosen from ten tracks, including cinematography, directing (fiction and non-fiction), editing, producing, production design, screenwriting, and screen studies, plus six open electives. Third year builds to Centrescreen, an annual screening where graduating students' films are judged by industry professionals.

Each student writes and directs at least six short productions during the degree. Facilities include more than 40 Mac edit stations running Avid and Adobe, a Pro Tools mixing suite, a three-camera television studio, Sony and Arri cameras, and a professional equipment loan store with 24-hour access. The campus sits near Village Roadshow Studios and hosts a Screen Queensland co-working hub, and staff are working screen professionals.
