About this program

The work-integrated learning version of Bond's Master of International Relations. The taught component is the standard coursework master's in international relations, covering global politics, security, diplomacy, international political economy and research skills, and it is open to graduates from other fields as well as people already working in government, policy or the not-for-profit sector. The Professional version adds a compulsory 20-week Work Integrated Learning component in the final semester: a placement in an Australian organisation plus a reflective professional portfolio, undertaken after all coursework is complete, which extends the degree by about one semester. It is open to international students only; domestic students take the standard Master of International Relations. It suits students who want supervised practical experience in a policy or international-facing workplace built into the degree.
