The Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Charles Darwin University is a three-year degree that develops fundamental knowledge in cell biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, biochemistry and pathophysiology, providing an understanding of the structure and function of the healthy and diseased body at the system, cellular and molecular level. Students also gain knowledge in research design and methodology and in Indigenous, rural and remote health, enabling them to consider health issues from global, regional and societal perspectives, and choose a specialisation to develop specific knowledge and skills in an area aligned with their interests.
