About this program
CQU's Diploma of Arts (CF36, Rockhampton campus) introduces humanities and social science subjects at an entry level, developing communication, critical thinking and creative skills. On successful completion students are guaranteed entry into CQU's Bachelor of Arts. Graduates pursue diverse pathways including arts and cultural programming, communications and public relations, creative writing, digital content production, government policy and research, and media production, or continue into further study.

- 8 units (48 credits): a 2-unit core (Introduction to Study and Professional Practice, Communicating for Social Change) plus six units drawn from within the Bachelor of Arts
