About this program
Curtin University's Doctor of Philosophy - Media, Culture and Creative Arts degree. Doctor of Philosophy - Media, Culture and Creative Arts is designed to provide students with higher level research skills and training on the applications of systematic inquiry to a central research question. The course requires students to undertake a program of independent supervised study and produce significant and original research outcomes culminating in a written thesis OR a body of creative works accompanied by an exegesis. Students will develop a systematic and critical understanding of a complex field of learning and specialised research skills in one or more areas of Media, Culture and/or Creative Arts. Doctoral Degrees prepares students to acquire a systematic and critical understanding of a complex field of learning and specialised research skills to advance learning and/or professional practice corresponding to AQF level 10 qualifications.
