About this program
Curtin University's Graduate Certificate in Multimedia Journalism degree. This course is designed for students seeking an introduction to journalism through one semester of full time study (part time equivalent). Students will learn and practise fundamental skills in journalism and develop critical and analytical skills through the study of journalism ethics and law. Graduate Certificates prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications.

A bachelor degree or graduate qualification in an unrelated field from a recognised institution OR recent, relevant and extensive work experience. Applicants for a Graduate Certificate are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; Applicants generally require a Bachelor Degree or equivalent credit gained for recognised learning.
