About this program

Curtin University's Graduate Diploma in Professional Engineering degree. This course is designed as a pathway course only to meet entrance requirement for the Master of Professional Engineering. It is suited for those who wish to specialise in a non-cognate engineering discipline ( a discipline not in their original engineering discipline), or career-transition to professional engineering from an undergraduate science or technology degree in engineering sciences. On completion students will qualify to enter the Master of Professional Engineering. Graduates of the Master of Professional Engineering meet the Stage 1 academic requirements for status as a professional engineer, subject to Engineers Australia accreditation of the course and major. Graduate Diplomas prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications.
