Curtin University's Master of Geoscience degree. This two year Masters of Geoscience course provides advanced technical and professional training for those wishing to upgrade their geology or geophysics qualifications or enter a new branch of geoscience to enhance their career prospects. Students can select either a major in Exploration and Mining Geology or Geophysics.   • Year 1: Applied Remote Sensing, STEM Research Methodologies, Regolith Geology and Mineral Exploration Year 2: Geoscience Master Project A, Geoscience Master Project B

Admissions

A recognised bachelors degree in science or a related degree. Students who wish to study the Exploration and Mining Geology major will be required to have completed foundation geoscience units at undergraduate or postgraduate level. Graduates in other disciplines with significant relevant industry experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants for a Master Degree (Coursework) are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; Subject to the duration of the course applicants usually require a Bachelor Degree or equivalent (and may require relevant work experience), Bachelor Honours Degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma.
