About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Writing and Literature at Deakin University is a one-year postgraduate course that advances students' reading, writing and analytical skills. Building on undergraduate study or professional experience, students explore the theory, history and practice behind impactful writing in a community of readers and writers. Foundation studies introduce creative writing, professional writing, publishing and literary analysis, while practical tasks build discipline, structure and confidence.
