About this program

Deakin University's Master of Business Analytics teaches students to govern, manage and analyse data to produce evidence-based recommendations, drawing on data visualisation and storytelling, predictive analytics, business intelligence and artificial intelligence. It normally runs two years full-time and can be fast-tracked to 1.5 years, with 8, 12 or 16 credit points required depending on entry point and recognition of prior learning; full-time students study four credit points per trimester across two trimesters a year. The course was developed with industry partners including IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte, EY and PwC, and Deakin also offers a graduate certificate as an entry or exit point. Graduates are ready for roles such as business analyst, data analyst and analytics consultant, combining technical skill with business judgement for evidence-based decision-making. Indicative international tuition is around A$45,100 per year.
