- Year 1 covers Foundations of Environmental Science
- Integrated Environmental Management
- Environmental Impact Assessment Procedures and an assessed Environmental Assessment unit
- then Environmental Monitoring and Investigation
- Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing
- Biostatistics and an assessed Monitoring and Reporting unit. In Year 2
- students choose either a Terrestrial Environments stream (Land and Water, Ecosystem Restoration and Management, plus Wildlife Management or City Environments) or an Environmental Management stream (Sustainability Management, City Environments, plus Environmental Management Systems and Auditing or Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems)
- finishing with a 60 credit point Postgraduate Science Project or an approved Professional Placement. Total: 2 years full time equivalent
