Master of Information Systems and Information Technology Management

Griffith University, Brisbane/Gold Coast, QLD, Australia

About this program

Griffith's Master of Information Systems and Information Technology Management is a 160-credit-point degree, one to two years full-time, taught at Brisbane City. It combines technical and managerial content so graduates can both work with and manage information technology in organisations, with a grounding in IT principles and practice and an in-depth understanding of information and communication technologies and information systems. Students learn to manage the information technology function in an organisation while keeping enough technical depth to work directly with systems, covering systems analysis and design, databases, IT governance and the management of technology projects. Entry is a recognised bachelor degree, with IELTS 6.5. Graduates work as systems analysts and developers, web and e-commerce developers, database designers and administrators, and information technology managers across public and private sector organisations. Indicative international tuition is around A$43,500 per year.
