About this program
The Master of Information Systems is Holmes Institute's 2 year, full time postgraduate degree for both IT and non IT graduates who want to move into IT strategy, enterprise systems, business analytics or data driven decision making, with an optional specialisation in Cybersecurity or Business Analytics. Students may exit early with a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems after 1 trimester (4 units) or a Graduate Diploma of Information Systems after 2 trimesters (8 units), both of which credit fully into a later return to the Master's.
Graduates typically move into roles such as business analyst, systems analyst, IT consultant, project manager, data analyst or enterprise systems specialist, with progression toward IT director, CIO, head of digital transformation or senior technology consultant roles.
