About this program
La Trobe's Master of Civil Engineering is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree accredited by Engineers Australia and designed with industry leaders. Students learn to analyse real-world problems and design modern infrastructure with an emphasis on building faster, better and more sustainably, and can take an 800-hour work-integrated learning placement. Entry is a four-year bachelor degree in civil engineering or a related field, or a Sydney Accord accredited three-year Bachelor of Technology; applicants from other engineering fields with relevant industry experience are assessed case by case. IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Graduates work as consulting and contracting civil engineers, structural engineers, site engineers, construction engineers and estimators across the public and private sectors. Indicative international tuition is around A$48,200 per year.
