About this program
La Trobe's Master of Engineering is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree combining technical, research and management capability, with a specialisation in either electronics or telecommunications and networks. Students advance their engineering practice through design, research and innovation, build knowledge in engineering management, data and software, and examine how AI and robotics are changing the profession and how to work sustainably in the Australian industry. The Melbourne offering is accredited by Engineers Australia. Entry is a four-year bachelor degree in electronic or electrical engineering or a related field, or a Sydney Accord accredited three-year Bachelor of Technology. IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Graduates work as electronics engineers, network and systems engineers, robotics engineers and telecommunications engineers across communications, defence, medical technology and public administration. Indicative international tuition is around A$48,200 per year.
