About this program

La Trobe's Master of Manufacturing Engineering is a two-year, 240-credit-point degree, accredited by Engineers Australia and designed with industry leaders, that blends engineering knowledge with business skills. Students build proficiency in system design, materials processing and sustainable engineering while working with AI, robotics and machine learning, and add enterprise skills in consultation, negotiation, and risk and project management. An 800-hour work-integrated learning placement is available. Entry is a four-year bachelor degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field, or a Sydney Accord accredited three-year Bachelor of Technology. IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Graduates work as manufacturing, design and process engineers, product designers, defence contractors and supply chain managers, in research, design development, quality assurance and logistics. Indicative international tuition is around A$48,200 per year.
