About this program
La Trobe's Master of Professional Engineering is a one-year, 120-credit-point degree that offers a fast track to an Australian engineering career for people who already hold an accredited engineering bachelor degree. Co-designed with industry partners including Siemens, John Holland and Acciona, it blends on-campus and online learning with hands-on experience at engineering companies, and covers sustainable engineering practice in Australia alongside project management and leadership. Entry is a Washington Accord accredited four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or an equivalent assessed by Engineers Australia. IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. Graduates move into engineering management, project leadership and strategic planning roles across energy and resources, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing and transport. Indicative international tuition is around A$49,200 per year.
