About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Research in the Faculty of Arts aims to help you to identify your research interests and strengths. In this course you will explore research opportunities in the Faculty of Arts and become familiar with the expectations associated with a research career. You will have the opportunity to develop your confidence and competence as a researcher, developing and completing research projects that will prepare you for a Master of Research in Arts or a range of potential research careers. This is a Macquarie University (Sydney) course.

Admissions
A high level of English language proficiency Completion of the MQ Graduate Certificate of Research OR an AQF-7 or higher award (Bachelor’s degree) from a recognised institution in a related field of study or equivalent Applicants with MQ qualifications from 2020 onwards (WAM): 65 overall, and 70 in the final year of the Bachelor degree or highest level of study All other applicants (GPA): 4.38/7 overall, and 5.25/7 in the final year of the Bachelor degree or highest level of study Some disciplines may have additional entry requirements such as a portfolio of work or a higher level of performance in previous study.
