About this program
The overall aim of the Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course is to graduate professional language teachers and language professionals with the scholarly, employability, social and professional capabilities that will support their practice in their local as well as international environments. Engaging with theories and principles related to knowledge about language, language learning and language teaching, and connecting with workplace partners in authentic work integrated learning activities, graduates are prepared as research-informed practitioners, inclusive and culturally respectful citizens, and reflective lifelong-learning professionals.
