Master of Engineering
Macquarie University, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
Macquarie University Master of Engineering (Professional) offers five specialisations: renewable energy and electrical engineering, environmental engineering, civil and construction engineering, mechatronics engineering, and mechanical engineering. It uses a zone structure, with a foundation zone for students coming from a different area, a core zone of compulsory units for the chosen specialisation, and electives to customise the degree. Multiple admission points and recognition of prior learning mean the length depends on prior study and experience. Entry requires an AQF level 7 bachelor qualification, or recognised equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline for the chosen specialisation. Indicative international tuition is around A$36,000 per year. Graduates work as professional engineers in their specialisation across the private and public sectors.
