Master of Engineering (Telecommunications)
Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
MIT's Master of Engineering (Telecommunications) is currently in teach-out mode at the Melbourne campus, meaning it is not accepting new commencing students, only continuing existing enrolments through to completion; it remains a real, currently CRICOS-registered and accredited award rather than a discontinued one. The course covers advanced networking, antennas in mobile and satellite communication systems, digital signal processing and telecommunication modelling and simulation, and is designed to meet Engineers Australia accreditation requirements.
A mandatory ME700 Industry Experience placement (12 weeks full-time or 24 weeks part-time) plus two capstone project units give graduates real workplace exposure supervised jointly by academic staff and an industry partner.
