About this program
Monash's Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) is a prestigious research year for high-achieving medical students, letting those who've completed at least three years of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, or an equivalent program, with a credit average interrupt their medical studies to undertake a dedicated year of supervised research in human, public health or biomedical science. Admissions
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Currently enrolled in a medical degree and successfully completed one of the following with at least an equivalent Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60% (a Monash credit average): three or more years of the Direct entry Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University OR two or more years of the Graduate entry Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University OR currently enrolled in a national or international medical degree that is accredited by an agency that is recognised by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME, https://wfme.org/accreditation/ ) and have completed study which is the equivalent of at least 3 years of the Monash undergraduate entry Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine program with equivalent curriculum content, learning outcome and academic standar...
