Graduate Certificate of Cultural and Creative Industries
Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
Monash's Graduate Certificate of Cultural and Creative Industries gives students foundational knowledge of how the global cultural and creative sector is transforming, drawing on Monash academics working across cultural management, cultural policy, film and media studies, cultural economics and strategic communication. Being based in Melbourne, widely regarded as Australia's cultural capital, gives the course access to field trip opportunities in a genuinely active creative and cultural scene rather than studying the sector at a remove. It suits people moving into arts administration, cultural policy, creative industry management or related roles who want a formal credential reflecting current trends in the sector, as well as those testing interest before committing to the full Master of Cultural and Creative Industries. As a short, four-unit certificate, it works best as an entry point or professional development credential rather than a complete qualification for someone already deep into a cultural sector career.
