Master of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Engineering
Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
Monash's Master of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Engineering responds to growing industry demand for engineers with broad expertise across both advanced manufacturing processes and the materials used in them, covering design for metallic and non-metallic materials in additive manufacturing alongside modern manufacturing approaches like lean manufacturing. The course is aimed at giving engineers the specific technical skills modern manufacturing workplaces now expect, reflecting how much materials science and manufacturing processes have converged as 3D printing and advanced materials become mainstream industrial tools. It suits engineering graduates from a materials or mechanical engineering background who want to specialise specifically in the intersection of advanced materials and manufacturing, positioning them for roles in industries adopting additive manufacturing and next-generation production techniques rather than traditional manufacturing engineering roles.
