Master of Information Technology Systems (Double Masters with Southeast University)
Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
Monash's Master of Information Technology Systems, offered as an international double master's with Southeast University in China, gives students a choice between two specialisations: advanced IT applications and practice with a focus on network computing, aimed at students with a technical IT background, or artificial intelligence, covering deep learning, optimisation techniques, natural language processing and human-computer interaction. Because this pathway is only offered in partnership with Southeast University, eligible students complete both the Monash qualification and a second IT master's degree from the Chinese institution. It suits IT graduates who want genuine international study experience alongside deeper technical specialisation, particularly those interested in the China market or wanting recognition from both Australian and Chinese institutions. The dual specialisation structure means the actual content of the degree depends heavily on which stream a student chooses, network computing or artificial intelligence.
