About this program
A three-year degree with four majors: communication and media studies, digital communication, journalism and content production, or strategic communication. It is offered on campus and online through Open Universities Australia.
Work-integrated learning comes through collaborative projects with organisations such as Lifeline, RAC Arena and The Salvation Army, and placements at MESH, Murdoch's on-campus creative consultancy, which serves real clients. Students use recording studios, creative labs and broadcast equipment. Entry is an ATAR of about 70 with alternative pathways available. It suits students heading into digital content, media production, journalism or organisational communication across the corporate, non-profit and media sectors.
