About this program
A three-year undergraduate degree in digital and creative production, with a choice of five majors: Games Art and Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Screen Production, and Sound Design. Students work with industry-standard tools across animation, video, design and interactive media, and build a portfolio of projects to show employers as they progress.
The course was designed with industry input, and students can get real client experience through MESH, Murdoch's on-campus creative consultancy. It can be combined with communication as a double degree. Entry is an ATAR of about 70, with a Media Portfolio Pathway available for applicants who can demonstrate creative potential without the standard results. Graduates work as designers, screen and sound producers, game artists, photographers and content creators across screen, games, advertising and digital media. It suits students who want a studio-based, portfolio-driven creative degree with clear industry connections.
