About this program
Students who achieve strong results in the Bachelor of Creative Media may be eligible to undertake Honours in Creative Media, an additional year of study that builds on the undergraduate course. Working with an academic supervisor, honours students complete an intensive research project on a topic of their choice and develop research skills further through an advanced research skills unit and additional coursework. The course is offered at Murdoch University's Perth campus, with face to face, online and mixed mode attendance options depending on the teaching period.

Course structure
- The Honours year combines coursework units in research methods with an independent research project completed under the supervision of an academic staff member
- culminating in a thesis assessed alongside coursework results to determine Honours classification
Admissions
Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Distinction average; subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) of the School.
