About this program
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science covers how the human body moves and responds to physical activity, including exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology and motor control. Students learn to assess physical performance, analyse movement and design exercise programs that support athletic performance and general health, using purpose-built facilities, specialised laboratories and industry-standard technology. The course combines scientific theory with applied practice through practical classes and work-based learning across sport, fitness and health settings. Admissions
A minimum ATAR (or equivalent selection rank) of 70 is required for direct entry, or an International Baccalaureate Diploma total score of 24 or higher. Applicants who do not meet this can gain entry via Murdoch's foundation, bridging and enabling pathway programs, or via recognised prior study, VET qualifications or relevant work experience assessed case by case.
